Le nouveau US Solar Forecast Center avait point\u00e9 du doigt un coupable surprenant: une \u00e9ruption solaire.<\/p>\n<p>Un nouveau document d&#8217;histoire militaire a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 les d\u00e9tails de l&#8217;incident indiquant \u00e0 quel point le monde \u00e9tait proche d&#8217;un autre annihilation atomique, et tout cela \u00e0 cause de la m\u00e9t\u00e9o spatiale!<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;auteur principal de l&#8217;article Delores Knipp est un ancien officier de l&#8217;arm\u00e9e de l&#8217;air et un expert en m\u00e9t\u00e9orologie spatiale \u00e0 l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 du Colorado.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;C&#8217;est ce que nous qualifierions de faute tr\u00e8s proche.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Le terme m\u00e9t\u00e9o spatiale est utilis\u00e9 pour d\u00e9signer tous les mat\u00e9riaux \u00e0 haute \u00e9nergie projet\u00e9s par le soleil lorsqu&#8217;il montre une activit\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9e.  Une \u00e9ruption solaire du soleil peut envoyer des \u00e9clats d&#8217;UV et de rayons X dans l&#8217;espace.<\/p>\n<p>Frappant l&#8217;ionosph\u00e8re, la couche atmosph\u00e9rique la plus externe, ces rayons g\u00e9n\u00e8rent une impulsion \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tique qui attire les \u00e9lectrons et produit une \u00e9norme quantit\u00e9 de charge \u00e9lectrique.  Une accumulation massive de charge peut tuer les appareils radio.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s l&#8217;\u00e9mission d&#8217;une grande \u00e9ruption solaire, le soleil expulse un nuage massif de plasma magn\u00e9tis\u00e9 ou d&#8217;\u00e9jection de masse coronale (CME). Une s\u00e9rie d&#8217;\u00e9ruptions solaires brillantes a \u00e9t\u00e9 signal\u00e9e le 23 mai.  Ces \u00e9ruptions solaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 photographi\u00e9es, y compris ce que l&#8217;on a appel\u00e9 plus tard la plus grande explosion radio solaire du 20e si\u00e8cle.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s les \u00e9ruptions, le Centre de pr\u00e9visions solaires du NORAD a \u00e9mis un avertissement global pour une temp\u00eate g\u00e9omagn\u00e9tique.  Apparemment, l&#8217;avertissement est venu juste \u00e0 temps lorsque l&#8217;US Air Force se pr\u00e9parait \u00e0 l&#8217;attaque de repr\u00e9sailles lorsque son syst\u00e8me d&#8217;alerte avanc\u00e9e pour les missiles balistiques (BMEWS) est tomb\u00e9.  Comme le dit Knipp:<\/p>\n<p>\u00abL&#8217;avion n&#8217;a pas d\u00e9coll\u00e9, nous en sommes presque s\u00fbrs.  La guerre \u00e9tait-elle imminente?
