Die mechanische Energie des bewegten Wasserstrahls wird genutzt, um die im Ger\u00e4t eingebaute Turbine zu bewegen.  Der im Estream verbaute Akku l\u00e4sst sich in bis zu viereinhalb Stunden aufladen.
