Samsung dan LG mungkin memimpin muatan, tetapi Laboratorium Energi Semikonduktor Jepang juga mengembangkan tampilan fleksibel yang sangat kuat.  Baru-baru ini, perusahaan menunjukkan kemajuan terbaru di sebuah pameran di Tokyo. Sensor sentuh disertakan dalam display ini, yang berarti perangkat berfungsi sebagai layar sentuh di semua sudut dan lengkungan.  Ini ditunjukkan di Pameran Inovasi Yokohama. Galaxy Note Edge diperkenalkan oleh Samsung pada September 2014. Karena layar keluar dari ponsel, layar sentuh masih dapat digunakan saat penutup ditutup. Perusahaan Korea merilis perangkat sebagai ponsel kedua yang menampilkan teknologi layar melengkung, setelah Galaxy Round pada Oktober 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Ponsel LG G Flex menampilkan desain yang serupa, dan kedua perusahaan memelopori TV melengkung. Salah satu perusahaan Inggris yang disebut Plastic Logic sedang mengembangkan teknologi tampilan fleksibel yang serupa dan mereka meluncurkan &#8216;tablet kertas&#8217; sendiri pada Januari 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Mereka baru-baru ini membentuk kemitraan dengan Cambridge Graphene Centre (CGC) untuk membangun transistor dengan Graphene.  Selembar atom karbon membentuk graphene.
